“La Colline” goat cheese varieties are fondant, with a fine structure and a strong after taste. They can be served in any moment of the day, as appetizer, desert, or cooked in hot or cold, classic or modern meals.

Manufactured using a French classic technology, La Colline cheese can be served as appetizer or desert, It is excellent with salads or cooked with meat, mushrooms, pasta, or pizza. 

It goes very well with dry red wine or rosé.

It should be served at room temperature and it is recommended to open the package at least half an hour before serving it.

Goat cheese salad

Mix cut green salad, cherry tomatoes, sweet corn, grated carrots and cheese cubes in a bowl. Add toasted bread cubes, as many as you like, spices and a dressing made with mayonnaise, cream, lemon juice and a little mustard. 

Fast appetizer

Cut the goat cheese into round slices and then spread over some black pepper and oregano. Sprinkle some olive oil, decorate with green olives and serve with black bread. 

Hot appetizer
Take a toasted baguette slice or a bake roll; put a thin slice of apple on it, then one of cheese and half a walnut on top. Fix them with a toothpick and leave it in the oven, or microwave until the cheese starts melting on the edges. Serve on leaves of lettuce. 

Appetizer with salmon

Take half a slice of toasted bread, sprinkle with olive oil, put a slice of smoked salmon on it and a cube of goat cheese. Leave it in the oven until the cheese starts melting. Serve this appetizer hot, along with dry white wine, or rosé. 

Spaghetti with goat cheese

Take a heat resistant glass or a stainless steel bake ware and spread a thin film of olive oil. Place the whole pieces of cheese in it, sprinkle some olive oil and leave them in the oven at a low fire for 15 – 20 minutes. Put a full spoon of cream and a piece of baked goat cheese on top of each plate of spaghetti. You can decorate it with tomato sauce and pepper and leek rings. 

Bacon and pineapple rolls
Cut the herb goat cheese and the pineapple in long slices. Roll a piece of pineapple and one of cheese on a slice of bacon, then fix them with a toothpick and sprinkle with lemon juice – for a diet, you can replace the bacon with slices of ham. 

Desert with fruit and goat cheese

Cut the goat cheese into round slices. Put a grape berry or a slice of apple, banana, kiwi, melon, pineapple or citric on each of them. The fruit can be fixed using a decorative toothpick. Serve them on a glass plate sprinkled with brandy or bitter.  It can be decorated with physalis, mint sprouts, or forest fruit: blackberries, blueberries, raspberries. 

„Honey – goat cheese” desert

Put a piece of goat cheese on a toasted baguette slice. Spread some honey on top of it, leave it in the oven for one minute and serve hot. The best drink for it is an amaretto digestive.

The honey can be replaced with blueberry jam, but in this case, it should be served cold.
